Hashhole

Implement SHA-256 from scratch in the fewest UTF-8 bytes. I'm just tryna see how small this shit can get.

Rules

Submit Python 3.14 source containing a top-level def or assigned lambda. The last such declaration is your entry point. Any function name or parameter name is allowed.

I call your function with one bytes argument and require a 64-character lowercase hexadecimal SHA-256 string in return. Do not use input() or print().

No imports, existing hashing implementations, file access, subprocesses, or interpreter introspection. All UTF-8 source bytes count, including whitespace. Line endings are normalized to LF.

Please don't try circumventing the rules on purpose. This shit was slopped together.

You shouldn't need this but I'm providing it anyway.
